Yakimochi no Kotae -another story- is the counterpart song to Yakimochi no Kotae, from Akari Hayasaka's perspective. The song is both the fifth installment in the Love Series and the fifth Confession Executive Committee song to be released online.
This song was used as the ending theme of Yakimochi no Kotae - Short Story, using its Kana Asumi-sung version.

Synopsis
- Akari Hayasaka is a person who just doesn't understand what it's like to be in love. When the topic comes up for her, she avoids it, but when she looks at others fully immersed in love, she can't help but feel jealous herself about the subject. She wants to be able to understand the feeling one day.
