Nichiyoubi no Himitsu

"Nichiyoubi no Himitsu" is the sequel song of "Kinyoubi no Ohayou" and its -another story- counterpart, detailing the relationship progress of Sena Narumi and Midori Hamanaka. It is the twenty fifth fully officially uploaded PV of the Confession Executive Committee discography, the twenty fourth installment of the Love Series, and the second official installment of the Youbi song subseries.

It debuted an insert song for the first CEC movie Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita. ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai~. The PV for this song was featured as a bonus in the Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita. box set, released on October 26, 2016.

This song would later receive its own sequel in "Suiyoubi no Yakusoku", released in 2020.

Synopsis

One Friday, on the commute to school, Sena decides to gather up the courage to talk to speak to Midori and sit next to him. They're at a loss for words; Midori, somewhat flustered, decides to take the chance as well, and the two exchange phone numbers.

Some time later, Sena invites him to a meet up on the following Sunday. Their get-together occurs at an amusement park; although the pair has a great time together, they still can't cross the emotional barriers that will allow them to begin dating. They doubt themselves, unsure of whether or not they're friends or lovers yet.

Later on, after a performance by Midori, Sena asks to meet him back stage. The former essentially confesses to her, and the latter, embarrassed, accepts and pulls on his cheek.

Later still, they reveal that although they're dating now, they're only doing it in secret and haven't told anyone they know about their relationship status.

Trivia

• Although this song is the twenty fifth full PV in the series' Niconico Mylist, it's also the 20th overall to be shown, since HoneyWorks left the preview up on the playlist before the home release of the Zutto Mae Kara Suki Deshita. movie came out.
• This video takes place during the marketing for "Romeo", as referenced by Sena's appearance during the LIP×LIP photoshoot from that song's PV. However, Yujiro and Aizo are wearing a different idol costume compared to the one shown in that music video.
• A few riffs from "Kinyoubi no Ohayou" can be heard during the bridge of the song. In addition, their hangups over not being able to say "good morning" during "Kinyoubi" are referenced in the beginning of the PV, where Sena dreams of greeting Midori, and near the end where they're able to greet each other without any problems.
