Tokyo Winter Session

"Tokyo Winter Session" is the 30th original song uploaded for the Confession Executive Committee song series, the second "Tokyo Session" song following Tokyo Summer Session and succeeded by Tokyo Autumn Session, and serves as the ending theme to the miniseries anime Itsu Datte Bokura no Koi wa 10 Centi Datta.. The song concerns the main Class 3-2 students as they pair up together during winter vacation.

This song was featured on the EP of the same name, as well as the third compilation album Suki Sugite Yabai. ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai Character Song Collection~.

Synposis

The song takes place during the winter break, during Christmas time, New Year's, and a dance, and shows how each of the three couples have spent their time together.

Natsuki and Yu are as connected as always, going to Yu's house during the holidays and talking about their future in the new year. Natsuki is energetic and hastily prepares for Valentine's day a month early, while Yu enjoys her company.

Meanwhile, Sota and Akari have become something of a couple, as they jokingly flirt together, take a walk around town during Christmas, and hold hands together while they watch the first sunrise of the New Year.

Finally, Haruki and Miou are getting closer to each other, but they are still far and away from actually telling each other how they feel. They go to a restaurant on Christmas, but Miou chickens out then. By New Year's they express a desire to look at their wishes but keep them secret. At some point during the winter season Haruki decides that he wants to properly confess.

By the end of the song, they all attend a dance together, Miou and Haruki close the distance between each other, and we see Koyuki meet up with a very surprised girl, who rushes into the building and tearfully embraces him.

Trivia

• "Tokyo Winter Session" covers two more seasonal events (Valentine's Day, New Year, and Christmas) than "Tokyo Summer Session" (Summer festival) does.
• The back-to-back pose Haruki and Miou are shown in during their restaurant get-together alludes to "Hatsukoi no Ehon's" Pv; the restaurant menu is in place of Miou's yearbook, however.
• During Natsuki and Yu's segments, Natsuki refers to her preparation as practice (yokou renshuu), referencing "Kokuhaku Yokou Renshuu".
